Practice Staff
Practice Manager Shirley Moth is our Practice Manager. She runs the Surgery and ensures the smooth running of all our activities. She welcomes any comments or suggestions which might help us to improve our service to you. Shirley is the person you should contact if you have a complaint.
Practice Nurses We have 4 Practice Nurses who do general clinics each day for dressings, blood tests, vaccinations, ear syringing, ECGs, etc. In addition they each have specialist roles....
Frances Price RGN - Smears, Women's health and Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)
Sue Kitchener RGN - Child Immunisations, Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Kate Stockton RN (Adult)(Dip) - Asthma and COPD, Diabetes and Smears.
Christine Northern - Diabetes
Catherine Robinson RGN - Smears.
In addition: A visiting Phlebotomist from the Eastbourne DGH does 3 Phlebotomy Clinics each week (taking blood tests).
We also have two Health Care Assistants (NVQ Level 3), Kathy Steadman and Jeanette Quanstrom, who are trained to take blood, do blood pressure checks, new patient registration medicals, ECGs, removal of stitches etc.
Office and Reception Staff We have a large team of friendly office and reception staff. These ladies are here to help you. They have a difficult job to do, with phone calls and enquiries from every direction. Please treat them courteously.
When telephoning for medical attention the receptionist may ask for a few details. They have been trained to make these enquiries so that we can help you in the most appropriate way.
